Physical strength – the strength you feel within your body can have a powerful effect on other areas. Physical strength means having the health and fitness to feel great every day, through eating well, looking after yourself and keeping fit. It's not about building big muscles or grunting in the gym!
Cognitive strength – by this we mean mental, intellectual and psychological strength. Cognitive strength is the ability to make quick and confident decisions.
Personal strength – this is your sense of knowing who you are and what is important to you. Personal strength comes from giving yourself time to reflect on things, and rewarding yourself with pat-on-the-back time.
Emotional strength – this is all about your mood and relationships, and shows in how well you deal with difficult situations. Do you deal with stress calmly and objectively, or do you tend to bury your head in the sand and pretend it's not happening?
